A rare and hopefully more regular appearance here on our blog.
We have been working hard in our studios creatively, keeping up with special orders and preparing for our shows. I have been doing some painting and have some new designs in the works that we are excited about. We have been experimenting with some lighter weight yarns and new colors for our knit dresses and tunics.
We started working on some longer length dresses and also have some very cool prints for the fall we are excited to show you. We have been experimenting knitting with Tasmanian Wool,Cashmere and Merino. Let us know if you are interested in wool.
We are deeply honored, very touched and excited to announce our Blossom Cape image was chosen by the Smithsonian Women's Committee for their website page entitled "Harnessing the Power of Women to Make a Difference" with their mission statement. We love that the Smithsonian offers the general public by providing a life enhancing experience serving all people at no charge.
We love supporting and participating in the Smithsonian's annual Craft2Wear show which is entitled "Artful Attire" on September 27th-29th at the National Building Museum, in Washington D.C. www.smithsoniancraftshow.org/craft2wear
We will exhibiting for the first time at the Philadelphia Museum's Craft Show at the Philadelphia Convention Center in November, gearing up for this, we love Philly.
